Fred Lam is the Chief Compliance and Legal Officer at LendingUSA, responsible for overseeing Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, and Regulatory Affairs. With over 15 years of experience as a Certified Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Ethics professional, Fred ensures that LendingUSA adheres to industry standards and maintains its commitment to ethical business practices.

Throughout his career, Fred has held several senior leadership positions within Compliance and Legal for Companies such as Capital One, First Bank, E*TRADE and Navy Federal Credit Union.

Fred earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Massachusetts School of Law and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Fred’s extensive knowledge in banking law, regulations, BSA/AML, Corporate Governance, and Regulatory Affairs makes him a vital asset to the LendingUSA team.
